QUALITY CONTROL
At Heyond, quality is an essential commitment to our customers. We take great pride in producing quality kitchen cabinets and vanities. Heyond controls quality from the timber to the finished kitchen cabinet, through our strict quality control system. Each cabinet we produced goes through more than 30 quality checkpoints before shipping. Below are some key aspects of our quality control system.
• When solid wood timber arrive, our inspector check moisture content, dimension and quality grade of the wood. Any substandard timber will be rejected. The wood with higher moisture content will be dried in our drying kiln before accepted by our raw material warehouse.
• We equipped with automatic moisture control system, which enable us control production environmental moisture at a ideal 40 degree level, and make sure our material and semi-processed parts won't crack or warp.
• We implement first work piece inspection and confirmation system. Each process is required to check the quality of first piece, and make sure it meet quality standard before bulk processing the kitchen cabinet order.
• Throughout the whole kitchen cabinet manufacturing process, every working station execute self-quality inspection of their own work pieces, as well as the work pieces received from upstream process, and make record.
• Shifting QC spot check processing record and corresponding work piece in wood working work shop. QC will stop processing immediately and conduct a correction procedure, when any problem is found.
• Before finishing process, we pilot run a few kitchen cabinet doors, in order to verify the quality of finish and that color and sheen match control color board. Finishing process begin only when the pilot production get countersigned by production manager and QC manager.
• During finishing process, our QC use XREAD meter to check the color every 30 minute for all paint colors, to ensure a steady color. The finishing will be stopped to adjust the color immediately, in case the reading goes beyond normal range.
• At the end of finishing line, our QC 100% check every piece of kitchen cabinet door and drawer front. Any piece found to be defective is picked out and transferred to finish repair team, who decide whether to remake, refinish, or fix the problem.
• Finished kitchen cabinet parts arriving packaging department, our QC people do trial assembly of every SKU to verify the fitness, construction, and dimension of the cabinet. And when package is complete, we sampling draw a few boxes, open and inspect before warehousing.
WARRANTY
Heyond warranty reflects our strong commitment to quality and formalizes our promise of customer satisfaction, now and future. Heyond Cabinet hereby warrants to our customer, that all our kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and accessories are free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty runs for as long as you own our cabinets. This warranty is expressly limited to replacement of the defective part. This warranty does not extend to defects caused by improper handling, storage, installation, assembly or disassembly, intentional damage, misuse, abuse or negligence, exposure to the elements including humidity, sunlight that may result in aging, warping or splitting.
Claims
All claims for defective kitchen cabinets and accessories must be submitted to Heyond in Email and specify the defects present in the cabinets and accessories and relevant purchase order number. After Heyond acknowledged the claim, we will replace defective kitchen cabinets and accessories in a following shipment.
Free Replacement Policy
There is no charge if the replacement product is an exact item that is: damaged due to improper package, defective cabinets, parts and pieces, finish and color variations affected resale, shortage on delivery, missing or misplaced parts in our package. A no charge replacement will be processed and shipped on the next available container.
